Fenlon has already bolstered his
squad by capturing Liam Craig
and Owain Tudur-Jones and
making Ryan McGivern's loan
deal permanent.
But with players including Eoin
Doyle, Shefki Kuqi and Leigh
Griffiths having departed the
club, Felon knows he has boots
to fill.
"Our pre-season trip is next
week and we are pushing to do
things," said Fenlon.
"We would like to get one or two
in by then but it could take a little
time and we need to make sure
it is the right fit for us.
"We know what we need, we
have targets and are talking to
people. The fans need to be
patient but we are working hard
to get things over the line."
Fenlon, while confirming he
wants to strengthen his attack,
insists he will not disturb the
progress of teenagers Ross
Caldwell and Danny Handling.
"We have lost Eoin, Shefki and
Leigh - three big players," added
the Irishman.
"We must replace them but it's
vital we don't bring in loads of
players and stifle the futures of
Ross and Danny."
Former Hearts player Fraser
Mullen has been linked with a
move to Easter Road.
