Nigeria midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has told www.leviticussports.blogspot.com he expects to be fit again in another two weeks after a knee injury. The SS Lazio ace injured his knee in the Super Eagles 1-1 draw in Namibia in a 2014 World Cup qualifier earlier this month. The injury kept him out of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil, where Nigeria failed to reach the semi-finals. "I am a lot better now. At least I can run now but in another two to three weeks I should be able to kick the ball after my prayers," he told leviticussports.com Despite crashing out in the group stage, Onazi has insisted the African champions gave a good account of themselves. "The Eagles did very well. They were not disgraced out of the Confederations Cup. They gave their best, fought hard but sometimes the results don't go your way," he said. Onazi, who has been linked to several transfer moves, is presently in Abuja recuperating.
