Kumasi Asante Kotoko have named a nine man committee to steer the league champions’ campaign in the African Champions league.
The committee comprises pf Sampson Deen,C.E.O of African Origin Travel and Tours,a leading sports tourism company,Alhaji Lamine and Kabral Blay Amihere,Chairman of Kotoko Express.Club interim General Manager,Opoku Nti,head coach Masud Dramani,Kweku Frimpong,Kennedy Agyapong,former national star Sammy Kuffour and Nana Boakye make up the rest of the committee.
The committee will be in charge of strategy for revenue generation to fund the team’s campaign as well as provide technical support for the coaching staff as Kotoko seek to reclaim its place among the elite on the African continent.
The Porcupine Warriors set up a similar committee last season as they failed to make the group stage of the Champions league after losing out to Bejaia on away goals.
