Arsene Wenger is, finally, ready to open his wallet, with Arsenal expecting to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo. Perhaps not the 'Luis' fans were hoping for, but a good aquisition nonetheless.
Tottenham,
meanwhile, are stepping up their interest in Roma's Erik Lamela. Though
deemed primarily as the ideal replacement for Gareth Bale, Spurs remain
hopeful that both could line-up for Andre Villas-Boas' side next
season.

but with Liverpool rejecting their advances for Daniel Agger, Barcelona
could yet try and force through a deal for the Brazilian.
Joining David Garrido are Goal correspondent Greg Stobart and former Chelsea and Tottenham midfielder Gus Poyet.
