Black Stars arrive in Japan

The Black Stars arrived in Yokohama in the early hours of Sunday morning to prepare for their friendly match against Japan.

Seventeen players together with the technical team headed by coach Kwesi Appiah touched down in the Asian country a few minutes before 01:00GMT.

Ghana, who earned themselves a place in the final round of African World Cup play-offs with a win over Zambia last Friday will play the Samurai Blue, who have already qualified for next year’s finals in Brazil on Tuesday.
