Kotoko sign Rahim Ayew, in talks with Isaac Boakye

LeviticusSports can confirm that former Ghana internationals Rahim Ayew and Isaac Boakye are joining Asante Kotoko.

Rahim, a son of Abedi Pele, has completed and medical and sources close to the club say the move is done. Rahim has been without a club after failing to secure a move to Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies, has been nurturing dreams of playing for a domestic league club that will represent the nation in next season’s CAF Inter-club competitions.

The former player of Sekondi Eleven Wise had been currently training with Division One League side Nania FC, and is looking to do well with Kotoko to revive his career in Europe.

LeviticusSports can also confirm that Isaac Boakye is making a second comeback to Kotoko. The player, best known for his two crucial goals in the 2002 African Cup for the Black Stars against Burkina Faso, has been keen on playing for the Kumasi giants again.
