Ashantigold signs Emmanuel Baffour

Emmanuel Baffour has returned to the Ghana Premier League after failing to impress in his $400 000 move to South African side Mamelodi Sundowns. The Ghanaian joins Ashantigold to fill the boots of forward man Yakubu Mohammed who left the club in the summer for Maritzbug.


Ashantigold CEO Kudjoe Fianoo told Live FM in Accra:

“We identified a weakness in out attacking department and this led to our decision to bring in Emmanuel Baffour. We are relying on his experience to improve the club’s goal count in the league this season.”

Baffour who was the top scorer in the 2011/2012 season in the Premier League was shown the exit after failing to impress in just two appearances.
