Becks rules out management

David Beckham admits he is relishing the chance to lead his very own MLS franchise, but says he will not become manager of the team.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder is currently waiting on approval from Major League Soccer in order to bring a Miami team into the fray.
"Miami is one of those places - there were a few others we looked at - and I'm passionate about that and being an owner of a team is something I feel passionate about," Beckham said.
"It has to excite me, management and coaching - I love coaching kids, my own kids and other kids - but managing is not something that floats my boat."
The announcement of his plans to introduce the new team were slightly marred by recent revelations in Sir Alex Ferguson's new autobiography, where the former United boss leveled criticism at Beckham for a lack of commitment in his final season at Old Trafford.
The former England international, though, preferred to look on the lighter side of things, jokingly adding: "The funny thing was I'm involved in the MLS and bringing my own franchise into the league and actually he (Ferguson) was one of the first in my phone book to contact as the manager, but I'm not so sure now."
