Fresh off banging in a brace in Ghana’s 6-1 humiliation of Egypt last Tuesday, Gyan scored his side’s second, third and fifth goals in the 52nd, 56th and 72nd minute to complement goals from Ismail Ahmed and Alex Brosque.
Gyan has now scored seven goals in four matches in the league for defending champions Al Ain, who are now eight on the log.
The hatrick brought Gyan’s UAE Pro League tally to a milestone 60 goals in 44 games after just two seasons and four matches.
Al Ain are away to Al Wadha next week, whilst Dubai, without a win in their last four games, are at home to Al Sharjah.
