Manchester United To Try Again For Athletic Bilbao Midfielder Ander Herrera

Moyes remains keen on Spanish playmaker.
Manchester United look set to rekindle their interest in Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera when the transfer window re-opens in January, according to Sports Direct News.
The 24-year-old was a top target for the Red Devils towards the end of the summer, with a £26m move falling through in mysterious circumstances on deadline day.
Although United manager David Moyes then managed to bring in Marouane Fellaini from his old club Everton, the Scot still feels his side are short of creativity in the middle of the park.
In what turned out to be a frustrating summer in the transfer market, United also missed out on the likes of Thiago Alcantaraand Cesc Fabregas as replacements for the recently-retired Paul Scholes.
More players continue to be linked with the Old Trafford outfit as January approaches, and it is thought that Herrera remains high on Moyes’ list of priorities.
Herrera reportedly has a release clause of around £31m, and United are currently mulling over whether to meet Bilbao’s demands for the player, though club officials seem ready to give Moyes the financial backing for his targets in the next transfer window.
As well as facing disappointment in the transfer market, Moyes’ side have not got off to the best of starts in the Premier League this season
