Bundesliga: Hoffenheim 1-2 Bayern Munich

Bayern regain top spot in the Bundesliga with a win over Hoffenheim
Bayern Munich came from behind to beat Hoffenheim at the Rhein-Neckar Arena and mark their 36th consecutive league game without defeat – equalling a 30-year-old record.
The Bavarians were put under pressure after title rivals Borussia Dortmund thrashed VfB Stuttgart on Friday night and although Pep Guardiola’s men were far from their best, the 2-1 victory puts them back at the top of the Bundesliga table.
Die Roten have now gone 36 games unbeaten which equals a record set by the 1982-1983 Hamburg side.
Things did not go to plan for the reigning champions, however, as they found themselves a goal behind in the 34th minute when Hoffenheim’s Niklas Sule capitalised on an uncharacteristic mistake from Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to put the host ahead.
But it took Bayern just five minutes to get back on level terms when Franck Ribery’s free-kick hit Mario Mandzukic on its way in to give the Croat his eighth goal of the campaign.
Thomas Muller then netted the winner for his side 15 minutes before the final whistle when Ribery picked out the German forward who netted from close range
