Henry Asante Twum has resigned as the deputy chief executive of Ghana’s second-tier side Tema Youth, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The ambitious journalist has tendered in his resignation after eight years of selfless service to the club.
“I have resigned from Tema Youth. I am done with the club. Eight years of service, am ok and feels it is time to move on,” Asante told GHANAsoccernet.com
Asante joined the Tema-based side in 2005 and rose through the ranks to become the club’s deputy chief executive.
However the club’s demotion to the the country’s second-tier could have triggered his decision to quit.
