Exclusive: Nti-Boakye joins Al Ahli on three-year deal as a free agent

Ghanaian striker Kofi Nti-Boakye has signed a three-year contract with Libyan side Al Ahli, Leviticus sports can exclusively reveal.

The 26-year-old signed however signed surprisingly as a free agent in a move likely to incur the wrath of Asante Kotoko.
The former Liberty Professionals and Heart of Lions striker signed the three-year deal after passing a club medical on Wednesday.
Boakye is thus to recieve a sum of $900,000 with Kotoko getting absolutely nothing as he signed as a free agent despite having an existing deal with the Ghanaian champions.
The striker remains a property of Kotoko as his current deal will expire on August 10 – in three days.
This therefore hands the Porcupine Warriors a strong platform upon which Kotoko can launch a suit to pursue portions of the transfer amount realized.
