Kumasi Asante Kotoko kicked off their pre season camp in Tamale on a
positive note after posting a 9-2 victory over third tier side Soccer
Ambassadors yesterday.
New Burkinabe striker Abdul Lawal Nasir scored a brace on the day with
Kofi Agyare, Michael Mensah, Abdul Aziz Yusif, Ransford Osei and
Alhassan Bukari all on target for the Ghanaian champions.
Soccer Ambassadors got their two consolation goals through Mohammed Fuseini and Seidu Appiah.
The Porcupine Warriors will be based in the Northern Regional capital
for a period of three weeks as Head Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani prepares
his team for the new campaign which kicks off on September 15.
Kotoko kick off their title defense with a home game against Aduana
Stars at a yet to be named venue as they continue to serve their three
home match ban.
