Okwawu United have appointed Fred Kwame Susu as the club’s new coach.
The appointment follows the earlier dissolution of the club’s
technical bench after their failed bid to qualify for the premiership
from Division One two months ago.
Until his appointment, Coach Susu was head coach of the Under-20 side
of Liberty Professionals and doubled as the assistant coach of the main
team.
A statement by Charles Boahene, Communications Director of Okwawu
United, said the position of assistant coach had been reserved for
locals in the Kwawu area.
It asked interested persons to apply through the club secretary.
Okwawu United missed next season’s premiership football by a whisker
when they were toppled by Inter Allies in the battle for promotion from
Zone 3 of the Division One Middle League.
