Transfer news: QPR midfielder Stephane Mbia linked with Sevilla move

Stephane Mbia: The QPR midfielder has been linked with a move to La Liga side Sevilla
QPR midfielder Stephane Mbia has been linked with a move to La Liga club Sevilla as he looks set for an exit.
Reports have suggested that Sevilla coach Unai Emery sees the Cameroon international as the perfect replacement for Manchester United target Geoffrey Kongodbia, should the highly-rated youngster leave the club.
Mbia made 16 Premier League appearances in his debut season in England but is now likely to be allowed to leave West London as Harry Redknapp continues to overhaul his squad for their Championship campaign.
QPR missed out the signature of Scott Parker who opted for a move to Fulham instead, but they are prepared to allow Mbia to leave at a cut-price.
The return of Joey Barton, who was involved in the deal which brought Mbia from Marseille, means Redknapp has a number of midfield options to chose from as he tries to offload one of the club's biggest earners.
