Dede Ayews first goal of the season helped Marseille go joint top

Andre Ayew’s first goal of the season helped Olympique Marseille go joint top of the French Ligue 1 with Monaco after a 2-0 win over a resilient Lorient at the Stade Yves Allainmat – Le Moustoir .

Andre got to the end of a Seber Khalifa pass to put add a touch of respectability to the scoreline after Mathieu Valbuena gave Les Phoceens the lead in the 58th minute.

Andre’s younger brother Jordan also started the game as Pierre-Andre Gignac continues his recovery from injury but was taken off after 59 minutes.

Marseille coach Baup will be happy with a result that gets them back into the race after it looked like Monaco and PSG would run away with the league.
