The 41-year-old Moroccan will be assisted by fellow nationals, Yussif Mabrouk and Mohamed El-Ahmady for the October 15 game at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Two-leg ties will be played between both nations with the aggregate winner going to the finals in Brazil next year.
Egypt will host the return game on November 19.
