LEVITICUS SPORTS can confirms that Polokwane City and John
Paintsil have failed to agree
terms on a deal following two
days of negotiations, but the
Ghanaian international could
still play for the Premiership
rookies this season.
City spokesperson Patrick Baloyi
explains to LEVITICUS SPORTS: “We couldn’t come to
an agreement, but the
negotiations will continue
today.”
LEVITICUS SPORTS has been reliably
informed that the 32-year-old
defender was asking “for too
much money”, believed to be a
R400 000 signing-on-fee plus a
substantial salary, though Baloyi
refused to comment on the
purported figures.
The two parties will be back on
the negotiating table at midday.
