Ghana names team for next month's assignment


A thirty-man (30) home-based squad have been selected into the local Black Stars team to begin camping on Monday in Obuasi.


The team will be preparing for next month's eight-nation GoTV Wafu Cup to be hosted by Ghana.

Ghana are paired with Sierra Leone, Benin and Burkina Faso in Group of the tournament that starts from 21st November, 2013 and will end on 28th November, 2013.

In the Group B, Togo defending champions Togo are the top seeds and they will face competition from Niger, Senegal and Gabon.

Winners of the two groups will progress to the final while the second placed team in each group will vie for third position.
