Ghana Premier League Results - Wed Nov 13, 2013
For the fourth consecutive time, Hearts of Oak failed to beat Medeama. Playing home away from home at the Cape Coast Robert Mensah Stadium, Hearts succumbed to a narrow loss via a second half strike from veteran Medeama attacker Kabiru Moro.
Hearts controlled the game but were unlucky to concede the only goal of the game against the run of play, goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy allowing Moro to stab the ball in.
It was Hearts’ third loss of the season — their second at home. Medeama on the other hand celebrated their fourth win in five games under new (interim coach) Evans Adottey.
Medeama chalked their second away win of the season in six games to move up to 21 points, maintaining fourth spot. The Mauves and Yellows are now undefeated in their last eight consecutive league games.
