Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester City.
The 26-year-old, who has won 41 senior international caps for Germany, has just 20 months remaining on his current contract at the Bernabeu.
Khedira is a popular player in Madrid and the La Liga giants are likely to offer him a new deal, but City could be prepared to better any such offer.
According to The Mirror, City are planning to swoop for Khedira with a £30m move in the summer.
Khedira joined Madrid from Stuttgart in August 2010.
