Popular Ghanaian fetish priest Kwaku Bonsam has sensationally claimed he is responsible for Richard Kingson’s axing from the Ghana squad for the second of the 2014 World Cup qualifier.
The Kumasi-based seer also claims the former Wigan Athletics glovesman: “shall not be named in the Ghana World Cup squad by coach Kwesi Appiah.”
Bonsam – literally translated satan, claims he worked for the Black Stars victory over Egypt but the 35-year-old keeper rather praised Nigerian christian prophet TB Joshua for the victory.
The deity worshiper says Kingson is serving punishment for award praises to Prophet TB Joshua and he would never back to the Ghana squad before he retires.
“Olele [Richard Kingson] has paid the price for saying it was TB Joshua who helped with the win while I did all the world. Before the game I directed on what should be done by the officials but I saw they were acting too slow and I did it myself,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.
Olele [Richard Kingson] will not go to the World Cup and he will not play for the Black Stars again for denying me my credit and giving it to TB Joshua.”
Kingson made a return to the Ghana team after a long absence but was an unused substitute as the Black Stars hammered Egypt 6-1 in Kumasi to inch closer to Rio next summer but has been left out of the Ghana squad for the return-leg.
