Mkhanyiseli Siwahla tells KickOff.com he is quitting football after being fired by Mpumalanga Black Aces.
The former Ajax Cape Town midfielder, along with Mark Mayambela, was shown the door at Aces after allegedly arriving at training drunk.
Siwahla denies the accusations and says all the ‘football politics’ has got the better of him.
“After all that has happened, who is gonna take [sign] me? I am quitting football. I have no more interest in football," he tells KickOff.com.
He adds: “I am not stupid. I have a family to look after. I have a girlfriend that is pregnant that I have to look after. I have been to FC Cape Town and Chippa United and everybody there knows how hard I have worked to improve my life and revive my career.
“Whatever Aces have said is fine. I have spoken to my girlfriend and family and they have advised me to come back home and relax. I have no grudges and wish Aces all the best for the future.”
