Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has dismissed rumours that international teammate Edinson Cavani attempted to persuade him to leave Anfield to join Paris Saint-Germain.
It was reported that the Uruguayan pair discussed the possibility of joining up together at club level whilst on international duty..
Suarez was pushing for a move during the summer before realising Liverpool had no intention of selling him.
Real Madrid and Arsenal were the two clubs linked with the 26-year-old striker but only the latter made an official bid.
Now Suarez has lifted the lid on the alleged conversation with Cavani, insisting all they talked about was his move to PSG and how he had been happy during his short time there, the Daily Star report.
"No. He said he is happy in Paris,” said Suarez.
"He is happy with the big club he has discovered, his team-mates and the way football is in France.
"He asked me a lot about it because it is very different from what I know in England."
Suarez has also said he is happy having returned to the Liverpool first team with six goals.
