MANCHESTER CITY EYEING LEOWANDOWSKI MOVE

Manchester City are preparing to re-engage in their interest in Robert Lewandowski as they begin the search for a new striker. Dortmund have been uncomprising saying that they will not grant Lewandowski his desired move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. It now looks like a move to the Premier League runners up would be the best solution for the player as well as the club. As Carlos Tevez will be moving to Juventus when the transfer window opens up leaving only Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko as the quality forwards,City are in search for another star performer at the front. Dortmund would sell the Polish International for £25million rather than lose him on a free ,presumably to Bayern next summer. Lewandowski fits the profile of the striker City want, after they have ruled out a move for Edinson Cavani. It is assumed that City would offer Micah Richards as part of the deal inorder to lure the Champions League runners up to accept the striker's exit.
