Boateng at the double as Milan make Champions League

A double from Ghanaian International Kevin-Prince Boateng saw AC Milan beat PSV Eindhoven at the San Siro to make the group stage of the the UEFA Champions League.

After their 1-1 draw in the Netherlands, Milan needed a draw to ensure their safe passage, but they went a step further, dominating their opponents from start to finish, and putting three goals past them.

After a great piece of passing outside the box in the ninth minute, Boateng unleashed a beautiful shot into the bottom corner of the net.

They continued to dictate play and doubled their lead in the second half courtesy Mario Balotelli, who connected a corner kick into the roof of the net.

Boateng netted his second of the night in the 77th minute, beating his man for dead, as he placed the ball into the bottom corner, albeit with his weaker foot.

Boateng is set to feature in Ghana’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Zambia, after rescinding his retirement decision. Black Stars teammate Sulley Muntari, who himself featured in the game against PSV will not be making an appearance against Zambia.
