Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh, the club announced Monday evening.
The 29-year-old France-born Moroccan international signed a one-year deal with the Eagles. Chamakh joins the Premier League newcomers after competing a medical, and will wear the No29 shirt. 
Chamakh, who joined Arsenal on a free transfer from Bordeaux in 2010 and scored 14 goals during his time at the Emirates Stadium, had a spell on loan at West Ham United at the end of last season.
He is the third striker to join the Selhurst Park ranks this summer, following the arrivals of Kevin Phillips and Dwight Gayle. Palace start their campaign at home to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
