AC Milan midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng will very soon write to the
Ghana Football Association officially revoking his international
retirement from the Black Stars, FootyGhana has reported.
Boateng has already made know his availability for the Black Stars
after leaving the team almost two years ago, but until now hadn’t
officially notified the GFA, even though he has been in contact with
Black Stars head coach Kwasi Appiah and GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Since the midfielder officially informed the GFA of his retirement
back then through a letter, he has to write another one officially
announcing his availability before Appiah would consider him for Ghana’s
squad against Zambia in September’s 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
Footy-ghana.com understands that the letter is set to arrive at the
GFA sometime this week, paving the way for Boateng’s return to the Black
Stars.
