Malik Akowuah cleared to join Medeama SC – report

 
Leviticus sports can confirm that Ashanti Gold midfielder Malik Akowuah has been cleared to move to Medeama SC by the Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
According to our sources, Akowuah was released from his contract with Ashanti Gold after accusing the Miners of a breach of contract.
Leviticus sports understands that Ashanti Gold also accused Medeama SC of tapping up the defensive midfielder, but the Player Status Committee settled the matter amicable between both clubs.
Akowuah now joins Medeama SC on a three year deal, with his contract beginning on Monday August 19 2013, joining fellow new recruits Kwame Boahene (Liberty Professionals) and James Abban (Hearts of Oak) at the club
