Ghana midfielder Prince Buaben joins Carlisle United
The former Ajax youngster has signed for the League One outfit till the end of the season
Ghanaian midfielder Prince Abankwah Buaben has signed for English League One outfit Carlisle United till the end of the season.
The 25-year-old was a free agent after being released by Watford in the summer, after two years and 31 appearances at Vicarage Road. Buaben could make his debut against Bristol City at Brunton Park this weekend.
“He is a powerful boy, a box-to-box midfielder, aggressive and handles the ball well,” said United manager Graham Kavanagh.
"I spoke to [Watford manager] Gianfranco Zola about him last week and all the recommendations we have had about him have been very good. I'm really looking forward to working with him.”
Buaben previously had a four-year spell at Dundee United having been at Dutch giants Ajax as a teenager. He has recently been training with Aberdeen during his search for a new club.
