Oct. 3: Europa League Results
Mubarak Wakaso and Daniel Opare had to sit and watch from the substitute bench as their sides played in Thursday night UEFA Europa League games. Rubin Kazan, Wakaso’s club entertained Zulte-Waregem at home. The Russian side won their game by four goals to nil.
Daniel Opare’s Standard Leige also drew 1-1 on the road in their game against Elfsborg. The Ghanaian watched on from the bench as his side came back from a goal down to secure a point which places them third in their group.
