Tough calender to blame for poor start -Inter Allies
Willie Klutse, Technical Director of Inter Allies Football Club has attributed the club’s poor run in the premiership to poor officiating and tough nature of the first five games in the competition.
“We have experienced some bad officiating in the competition so far and the game against Edubiase on Wednesday was an ample evidence of our difficulties.
“This was a referee who once told us when we were in his bad books during the division one league campaign and so we were not surprised by his conduct”.
Klutse said, his side is not in the premiership to win the league trophy but to contribute to the development of football in Ghana and will not pay their way through.
He added that, the club is not prepared to pay money to any referee to win matches because they are not desperate as others.
“It looks like there is a mafia in the system but we are not perturbed because we know what we are about in the league”. He noted.
Klutse added that, the first five fixtures in the league have been very difficult.
He said the club has been presented with very tough opponents hence their inability to find their rhythm in the competition.
“We are playing against Kotoko on Sunday, after playing Dwarfs, Aduana, Hearts and Edubiase.
“So you can imagine the difficulties that come with these opponents. These are very difficult fixtures, but I’m sure we will scale through”.
Klutse noted that, the club will not give up but continue to work hard to improve upon their outings.
“The game against Kotoko will be an opportunity for us to make amends though it’s going to be tough. This is not the time lift up our hands in despair, because we are in to fight.” He declared.
Allies, are stacked at the bottom of the premiership with no points after four games in the competition.
