Arsenal are slap bang in the middle of what’s likely to be the toughest month of their season. The games are coming thick and fast, the opposition is top class and the Gunners squad seems to be getting thinner and thinner.

As for the loss against Borussia Dortmund game, it’s put Arsenal in a very awkward position indeed.
The hope will be that things pick up over the next couple of weeks, but I’m sure most fans will be waiting with baited breath until the January transfer window.
After all, Arsene Wenger’s squad is seriously low on options. Upfront the Gunners can currently choose between Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner. One of these strikers is world class, the other is a world class loon. Can you guess which one is which?
Signing a fresh pair of legs to provide Olivier Giroud is now an absolute necessity. Silverware maydepend on it.
