Asante Kotoko have been handed a massive cash boost following a donation of GHS 50,000 ($22, 624) made by supporter Dr. Kwaku Frimpong.
The Chief Executive Officer of Champions Divine Clinic made the donation to help shore up the club’s ailing finances.

The cash injection will therefore come as a massive boost in helping defray this cost ahead of the Sunday’s Premier League game against Liberty Professionals.
Dr. Frimpong’s donation is the major one made to the club following a series donations by institutions and individuals since news broke of Kotoko’s poor finances.
The Reds have retained their lead in the Ghana Premier League despite losing a bit of their shine in recent games.
