After leading his team to a remarkable second half comeback against
Turkey, Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan says Ghana is ready to play
Zambia.
The Chipolopolo represent the final block in the path of Ghana as it
seeks to qualify for the final round of matches for places at the 2014
World Cup in Brazil.
“Some of the players have just started their leagues, and some have just
started preparing physically so by the time of the game we will be
ready .This game especially has huge expectations from the fans and we
know what Ghanaians want and we are coming to make everyone happy.
We know there is pressure but we know what we are capable of
doing.“
The Al-Ain striker also said his teammates are also focused on the game and need very little motivation.
“The players know what that game means and they speak about it every time we meet or are together so we know what is expected.''
Renard Herve’s side have also been fine tuning their plans ahead of the final group game in Kumasi on September 6.
