Porto demand €10m from Spurs for Atsu

Portuguese side Porto are demanding €10 million from Everton and Tottenham for the services of Ghana international Christian Atsu.

According to Abola, Tottenham are in the forefront to sign Atsu as Liverpool, the first club which made an offer, have backed out.

Atsu, who is in his last year of his contract with Porto, have expressed interest to leave as he keeps on attracting more suitors. He was, therefore, set aside and not included in the Blues and Whites squad for the new season.

The winger moved from Ghanaian second-tier side Cheetah FC to Porto in 2009 and played for the youth team before moving to Rio Ave on loan where he excelled and returned to the Dragons to cement a regular first team place.
