Arsenal have been told they can sign goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen if they are willing to fork out £10.2million for the German.
The 21-year-old has received high praise for his performances for Borussia Monchengladbach and kept a clean sheet against Borussia Dortmund recently.
Barcelona are also reportedly keen on the stopper and an agreement was said to be made with the player but they have failed to come up with the amount Monchengladbach are after.
And according to the Daily Star, Arsenal could pinch the keeper from the La Liga giants if they are willing to pay the quoted fee.
The Gunners may be put off by the large fee, as they will be looking to strengthen other areas in the January window.
They are keen on signing a centre-back and striker and this could take priority over a goalkeeper with Scezny and Fabianski already in the squad.
They take on Liverpool on Saturday in a top of the table clash in the Premier League
