Black Stars begin training for Egypt game
Ghana Black Stars have started their preparations for the first leg of their final round World Cup qualifier against Egypt. The game will be played on Tuesday, 15 October 2013 with the second leg on November 19, 2013.
Nineteen players from coach Kwesi Appiah’s 25-man squad have arrived with the other six players expected to join in coming days.
Kwesi Appiah and his team had their first training session on Tuesday afternoon with captain Asamoah Gyan leading.
England based players Michael Essien and Emmanuel Frimpong were present. Sulley Muntari and Kwadwo Asamoah who faced each other on Sunday also participated.
The other players who were involved were Fatau Dauda, Daniel Opare, Jerry Akaminko, Rashid Sumaila, Mohammed Awal, Samuel Inkoom, Edwin Gyimah, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Jordan Ayew, Albert Adomah, Abdul Majeed Waris, and Andre Ayew.
