GFA unhappy with Glo

The Ghana FA are not happy with Premier League sponsor Glo, but the Nigerian firm will be given some more rope.
Kwesi Nyantakyi, head of the FA, says his outfit have not decided to sue the league sponsor for monies owed them.
Glo owes league clubs from the last season and local media had speculated that the FA had started legal processes against the telecoms operator.
"We do not have any intention of going to court. That is not how the Association works. We are still having discussions but if by the end of the year we have not heard anything then maybe we can think about resorting to the law courts," he told state-owned GTV's Stage Africa.
Being diplomatic, the FA boss went on to clear the air on the state of things with the estranged league sponsor.
"They know that they owe us money from last season. That has nothing to do with future arrangements that will emanate between the two parties. Even in the middle of this situation clubs are still wearing GLO branded shirts and giving them mileage, basically reaping where they have not sown."
Due to the inability of Glo to pay its debts, the league now operates under the Ghana Premier League name.
